Reception:
Donna joined the team in August 2008. A County Durham girl born and bred, she has recently moved to Lanehead. She loves the rural life but admits to having lots to learn about country living – particularly the unpredictable weather.

Donna spent 20 years in the Civil Service after which she retrained as a literacy and numeracy tutor teaching in and around the Durham area.

When the weather allows it, Donna enjoys being outside and is hoping to improve her gardening skills in order to grow her own fruit and vegetables. Any assistance or tips would be gratefully accepted!

The word she would best use to describe herself is ‘creative’. She loves home decorating and dress making but particularly likes the old Victorian methods of rug making and can be found on cold winter evenings with her proddy and clippy mats – and of course a large glass of wine!!
