Reception

Crissy joined Old Stone Vets in 2012 as receptionist based mainly at our Alston surgery. Crissy’s off roading 4×4 abilities are second to none and demonstrates these on Killhope tops during winter months. Crissy thinks caffeine has driven everyone at Old Stone Vets do-lally so she drinks hot water just in case she follows the same path!

Reception:

Denise ‘normal spice’ claims she is the normal one among us all. We are not so sure. Denise works mainly in our Stanhope branch, job sharing with Victoria. She has a horse which she rides through the forest at Hamsterley without a care in the world.

Janey Lowes BVM BVS MRCVS

Janey ‘Barney Spice’ has joined us in January 2013. Janey graduated from Nottingham University in 2012 and has her eyes set on a PhD in the correlation between rugby injuries and veterinary treatment. We believe she has excellent hands-on skills in both departments. Janey is from Barnard Castle originally so has a good feel for the area already.

Animal Feed Delivery Service

Due to our association with High Pennine Animal Feeds, Old Stone Vets is happy to offer a free delivery service of goods placed by telephone order directly through the store. Items will then be delivered to any of our branches for your convenience.

To take advantange of this service, all enquiries should be made directly through High Pennine Animal Feeds on 01434 381141 where payment can be taken over the telephone by card and upon request, their staff will be happy to arrange delivery to the branch of your choice, Stanhope or Allendale.
